Boxwood Burrow
Flower Farm & Native Plant Nursery
Our goal at Boxwood Burrow is to make locally grown organic flowers, herbs and veggies more accessible to florists & community.
While giving back to native ecosystems, creating biodiverse landscapes, and saving the eastern box turtle.
Welcome to Boxwood Burrow
We are a small-scale flower farm and native plant nursery making a BIG impact.
Our goal at Boxwood Burrow is to make locally grown organic flowers, veggies & herbs more accessible to our community.
To help create a circular economy & to support other growers in the area.
To help lower the carbon footprint in the floral industry and prove that you can grow beautiful flowers and food without the use of chemicals.
& of course, to help save the bees (and turtles!)

Hi There!
I'm Kyla, the face behind the flowers here at Boxwood Burrow. I've recently moved to Pasadena, Maryland to be with my life and now business partner. You will find him behind the scenes helping me in the garden, building the farm stand, or working on the eastern box turtle enclosure. He is extremely hardworking and supportive. He is an integral part of this business and I wouldn't do it without him!
Before moving to Pasadena, I lived on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. For almost a decade, I was the founder and CEO of Meadow Wren Flower Farm, a flower farm and garden design business. Here, we focused on creating biodiverse spaces to help birds and bees while also growing and arranging flowers for our local community.
For more information about me, our farm & our journey check out the About page.
All flowers are grown pesticide & chemical free here in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
